It is with great sadness that we are writing to inform you that Barrie Sheard ‘Honorary Member’ and past director of the National Pest Technicians Association, died on Wednesday 22nd January 2020.
Barrie had been a part of the NPTA Since joining the management board in 1994, Barrie was always a keen supporter, carrying out roles as Chairman and assistant editor of ‘Todays Technician’ amongst many different other roles.
When Barrie retired from the board John Davison said the following:
“Barrie is an exceptional gentleman who has always been willing to participate in any job given to him on the board no matter how trivial or comprehensive. His skills at communication and literacy will be sorely missed”
Barrie attended PestTech 2019 and carried out the PA announcements which he was particularly good at.
