FIRST KILLGERM WORKSHOP IN IRELAND IS A SUCCESS

    On Thursday 26th May, Killgerm Ireland hosted its first workshop event in the Republic of Ireland. The Killeshin Hotel, Portlaoise, was the venue for the event which was attended by many pest controllers from the area.

    The workshop included talks from key experts in the pest control industry and breakfast for all attendees. Sharon Hughes, BASF’s Global Technical Manager, gave a talk on the active ingredient cholecalciferol. Maike Shmitz, International Sales Manager for PestWest Electronics, presented a talk on the future of fly control.

    Representatives from Killgerm group also spoke at the event. Dr Matthew Davies, Head of Technical at Killgerm UK, gave an interactive presentation on insect identification. Graham Bingham, one of Killgerm UK’s Area Sales managers, presented on the latest pest control industry updates and new products.

    It is an important and exciting step forward for Killgerm Ireland to host its own events. Porsia Schofield, Operations manager for Killgerm Ireland, said; “We would like to thank everyone who attended the event, it was a great success. A special thank you to our speakers on the day Sharon Hughes, Maike Schmitz, Dr. Matthew Davies and Graham Bingham”.

    This comes at an exciting time, as Killgerm Ireland is also launching its first product catalogue, available to all customers.

    There will be more events throughout Ireland, giving pest controllers throughout the country the opportunity to meet us and learn even more about the industry.
