Job Vacancy Role: HOME & FIELD BASED TECHNICAL MANAGER

Killgerm Chemicals are recruiting a Technical Manager to join their technical team. The role is home & field based. Reporting to the Head of Technical Department, the main functions of this role will be to deliver training in all aspects of Public Health pest control and undertake field biologist inspections. You will often be the first point of contact for pest control operators, local authorities and the food industry when it comes to providing accurate and practical advice on dealing with a variety of pest control issues and scenarios. The role includes recognising likely changes within the industry and to ensure any significant changes and trends are reflected in Killgerm training courses. You will be called upon to carry out detailed technical inspections / field biologist inspections on behalf of our diverse customer base in the United Kingdom; some overnight stays and also overseas travel may be required on occasion. Training and other activities such as inspections will be predominantly in the North West, Yorkshire and the Humber, North East, North Midlands and other areas as required. The successful candidate will be of graduate calibre with a diverse variety of industry experience as a Pest control operator and at Field Biologist level (or equivalent). Qualified to RSPH level 2 Pest control is required. Experience of delivering training is necessary. You will be self-motivated, have good organisational and planning skills, work well within a team and have a good eye for detail.
