National Pest Technicians Association Welcomes Kevin Lawrenson as New CEO

The National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Kevin Lawrenson as its new Chief Executive Officer. With 18 years of experience in the pest control industry, Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the organisation, marking an exciting new chapter for the NPTA and its members.

Kevin’s career in pest control began in 2006 as a sales surveyor at Rentokil. Over the years, he has held a variety of senior leadership roles, including heading the Prokill Franchise Network and playing a crucial role in the CMA process following Rentokil’s acquisition of Mitie Pest Control. He later oversaw the transition of the business into Terminix UK and Vergo, building a well-rounded perspective on both operational and strategic aspects of the industry.

As the new CEO, Kevin is committed to driving the NPTA forward with a vision to raise the profile of the pest control industry and ensure that technicians receive the recognition they deserve. He is focused on providing NPTA members with the resources, training, and support they need to uphold the highest standards of practice and thrive in a competitive landscape.

“We are excited to welcome Kevin Lawrenson as our new CEO,” said [Steve Hallam] “His extensive experience and leadership in the pest control industry, combined with his passion for raising industry standards, make him the ideal choice to lead the NPTA into this next phase of growth and development. We look forward to working together to support our members and strengthen the voice of pest technicians across the UK.”

In his new role, Kevin will be working closely with NPTA members to foster professional development and innovation within the industry, ensuring that the association continues to be a trusted resource for its members.

Outside of his professional life, Kevin is deeply involved in his community, dedicating time to coaching youth football and enjoying quality time with his family. His leadership philosophy is grounded in a balance of personal and professional fulfilment, which drives his success in both arenas.
