NPTA Announces New Chair and Vice Chair Appointments

The National Pest Technicians Association (NPTA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jasmin Emmerson as Chair and Hugh Radford as Vice Chair of the Association.
Both appointments will be formally confirmed at the NPTA Board meeting on 21 January 2026.
Jasmin Emmerson brings extensive experience, insight, and leadership to the role of Chair, alongside a strong commitment to professionalism, inclusivity, and raising standards across the pest control sector. Her appointment reflects the NPTA’s continued focus on strong governance, representative leadership, and supporting pest controllers at every stage of their careers.
Hugh Radford’s appointment as Vice Chair further strengthens the Board, bringing additional depth of industry knowledge and strategic oversight. Hugh has a proven track record of supporting best practice and collaboration within the sector and will play a key role in supporting the Chair and wider Board as the Association moves forward.

Jasmin Emmerson said

“It is a real privilege to be appointed Chair of the NPTA and I’m very thankful for the confidence placed in me by the Board.
I’m looking forward to spending time listening to members, working closely with colleagues across the sector, and helping to ensure the Association continues to feel welcoming, supportive, and relevant to those it represents. I’m excited to work alongside Hugh, the Board, and the NPTA team as we move forward together.”
Hugh Radford added

“I would like to congratulate Jasmin on being appointed Chair of the NPTA”

“The association is going through an important period of change, and I believe it’s vital that we continue to stay grounded in the real, day to day experiences of pest controllers working on the tools. That has always been at the heart of what makes the NPTA valuable to its members.”
“The strength of the NPTA has always come from combining experience, fresh thinking, and a shared commitment to raising standards across our industry, along with Jasmin I look forward to playing my part in that role at this exciting time for the NPTA.”

Commenting on the appointments, Kevin Lawrenson, CEO of the NPTA, said:

“These appointments mark an important step for the Association. Both Jasmin and Hugh bring credibility, experience, and a shared passion for championing pest controllers and supporting the growth and professionalism of our industry.
I look forward to working closely with them as we continue to build a strong, representative NPTA.”
