    About us

    The NPTA was established in 1993, we are a leading not for profit trade association based in the East Midlands. We are dedicated to increasing standards within the pest control industry through supporting our members and ensuring they remain compliant and providing high quality training.
    The NPTA are looking to recruit a technical support officer to help the association in our ever-increasing success. The ideal candidate will be based in the East Midlands and cover the Midlands and the north of the country but provide support where needed.
    The successful candidate will carry out training; provide technical support for members; attend industry meetings and events and undertake audits. In fact, it would be reasonable to say that no two days are ever the same! This will be a diverse and at times, challenging but a highly rewarding role, The role would suit someone with excellent communication skills as well as having sound technical knowledge.

    Main roles and responsibilities

    Qualifications and skills

    Essential; IT literate (MS Office PowerPoint; Excel and Word) and RSPH level 2/3 or equivalent is the standard minimum. Public speaking and excellent communication and training skills are desirable.

    Experience

    At least 3 years relevant pest control experience, ideally in a field role.

    Personal Characteristics

    Hours of work: Flexible hybrid role. Standard hours Monday to Friday 9 – 5 (however flexibility is required and some overnight stays are expected)
